Privacy Policy
Oloid: ASMR · Last updated: 3 October 2026
Oloid: ASMR (the "App") is developed by Dominik Cyboran / CyborApps, based in Poland. The App does not require an account and we do not collect your personal data ourselves. All data processing outside your device is carried out by Google and, where you consent to personalised advertising, by Google's advertising partners, who together provide the ad shown in the App (see "Advertising" below).
Data stored on your device
So that the App opens the way you left it, it saves the following information locally on your phone:
- Your choices: the shape, material, floor and size of the rolling solid
- Your Autorun settings (on or off, maximum speed, Interval on or off)
- Your volume setting
This data is not sent to us or to any third party by our code. We do not operate servers that store user data. Uninstalling the App removes this data.
Advertising
The App shows a single banner ad at the bottom of the screen, provided by Google AdMob. There are no full-screen, video or pop-up ads. To deliver and measure the ad, Google may process, as an independent data controller:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
- Approximate location derived from your IP address, and, where you consent to it in the form described below, precise geolocation data
- Device and system information (model, operating system version, network operator)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks), used to measure performance and prevent ad fraud
We receive only aggregated statistics and cannot identify individual users from them. For details see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
Advertising partners
The consent form described below is based on the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). If you give consent, the data listed above may also be stored by, accessed by and shared with Google's advertising partners, who act as independent data controllers for their own processing. The form shows the number of participating partners and links to the full, current list, which you can review and change partner by partner under "Manage options" before you decide.
If you do not consent, or if you withdraw your consent later, the App continues to work and shows non-personalised ads instead.
Consent and ad personalisation
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the App shows a Google consent form (User Messaging Platform) on first launch. It lets you choose between personalised ads and non-personalised ads, which rely only on context and not on profiling. On iOS you may additionally be asked for permission to track you across apps and websites; you can decline, and the App works the same.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time, and doing so is as easy as giving them:
- Advertising consent (GDPR): tap the gear icon in the App to open Settings and choose Privacy choices. This opens the form where you can change your decision or withdraw it entirely. The button appears only where consent is required.
- Tracking permission on iOS: this one is controlled by the operating system and cannot be changed from inside the App. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
- Advertising ID on Android: go to Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete it.
Other data we do not collect
The App does not use analytics or crash-reporting services of its own, does not access your contacts, photos, camera or microphone, has no chat or social features, and does not contain user-generated content. All sounds are generated on your device while you use the App; nothing is recorded.
The App itself never asks your device for location access and never reads your location. Location appears under "Advertising" above only because the consent framework used by Google's advertising partners covers it: the approximate location is inferred by Google from your IP address, and precise geolocation can be processed only if you consent to it and your device permits it. Declining costs you nothing in the App.
Cookies and similar technologies
The App is a mobile app and does not use cookies itself. The ad SDK may use device identifiers and similar technologies to show and measure ads, as described above.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because Google and its advertising partners are the controllers of the advertising data, you exercise these rights directly with them: with Google via your Google Account's data and privacy settings, and with individual partners via the contact details in their own privacy policies, which are linked from the partner list in the consent form. For the local data described above, uninstalling the App deletes it; we hold no copy. You can also contact us with any question at cyborapps@gmail.com.
Children
The App is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us and we will help.
Security
Data saved by the App lives in the app's private storage, which is protected by the operating system and accessible only to the App. Our code does not transmit it over the network.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, for example when adding new features, we will update the date at the top of this page. Where required by applicable law, we will notify users of material changes.
