Lunchbox Adventure · Last updated: 9 October 2026
Lunchbox Adventure (the "Game") is developed by Dominik Cyboran / CyborApps, based in Poland. The Game is made for children and families. It does not require an account, and we do not collect personal data from players ourselves. The only processing of data outside your device is carried out by Google, which provides the ads shown in the Game (see "Advertising" below).
In short, for parents
- No account, no registration, no chat, no social features and no in-app purchases.
- We do not ask for a name, e-mail address, location, photos, contacts, camera or microphone.
- Ads come from Google AdMob and are always requested with settings for children: only ads suitable for all audiences, no personalised or interest-based ads and no remarketing.
- Progress and settings stay on the device and are removed when the Game is uninstalled.
Data stored on your device
So that the Game continues where you left off, it saves the following information locally on the device:
- Your progress: finished lunchboxes, completed challenge levels, saved points and unlocked lunchbox designs, shaped foods and achievements
- The date of your last daily login, used for the daily reward
- Your settings: sound, hints and the chosen language
This data is not sent to us or to any third party by our code. We do not operate servers that store player data. Uninstalling the Game, or clearing its data in the system settings, removes it.
Advertising
The Game is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob:
- A banner ad in a fixed strip at the top of the screen. It is kept apart from the game controls.
- Full-screen ads between lunchboxes. After a lunchbox has been finished, a full-screen ad may appear, at most once every 2 minutes of play. It never appears while a lunchbox is being packed or when the Game starts.
All ad requests are made with Google's settings for child-directed content: the child-directed treatment tag and the tag for users under the age of consent are switched on, and the maximum ad content rating is set to "G" (suitable for all audiences). As a result, ads are not personalised, are not based on a player's interests or past behaviour, and are not used for remarketing. The Game does not request the Android advertising ID: the corresponding permission has been removed from the app.
To deliver and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud, Google may still process limited technical information that any internet request involves, such as the device's IP address, device and system information (model, operating system version, language) and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks). Google acts as an independent controller for this processing. We receive only aggregated statistics and cannot identify individual players from them. For details see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
Because ads are always non-personalised and child-directed, the Game does not show a consent form for personalised advertising.
Permissions
- Internet and network state: used only to load ads. Without a connection the Game still works, without ads.
The Game does not use location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, vibration or storage permissions. Google's ads library may add a few technical permissions of its own, such as keeping the device awake while an ad is playing; none of them gives us access to personal data.
Links
The Game contains no links to social networks or other websites, with one exception: the "Privacy" button in Settings and on the main menu opens this page in the device's web browser. Ads may contain links, which open outside the Game; we recommend that a parent supervises younger children.
Other data we do not collect
The Game does not use analytics or crash-reporting services of its own, has no user accounts, no user-generated content and no way for players to contact each other.
Open-source software
The Game is made with the Godot Engine and uses the AdMob plugin for Godot by Poing Studios. Their licenses are shown in the Game, in Settings under "Licenses".
Children
The Game is directed to children and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not ask for any. For this reason the Game is designed to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Google Play Families Policy. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question or concern about your child's use of the Game, please contact us at cyborapps@gmail.com and we will help.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. We hold no personal data about players. For the local data described above, uninstalling the Game deletes it. For data processed by Google for ads you can use the controls in your Google Account's data and privacy settings. You can also contact us with any question at cyborapps@gmail.com.
Security
Data saved by the Game lives in the app's private storage, which is protected by the operating system and accessible only to the Game. Our code does not transmit it over the network.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, for example when adding new features, we will update the date at the top of this page. Where required by applicable law, we will notify users of material changes.
